Temponok is a French street artist born and raised in Paris, known for his distinctive bubble style graffiti. He began his artistic career in the late 1990s and quickly gained recognition for his unique approach to street art. His work is characterized by bold, colorful, and rounded shapes that give the impression of bubbles floating through the streets. Temponok’s pieces often incorporate elements of popular culture, including cartoon characters, pop art, and graffiti lettering. He is also known for his large-scale murals, which can be found in cities throughout France and beyond.

Despite his success, Temponok remains dedicated to the roots of street art, often using his work as a means of protest or social commentary. He has used his art to raise awareness of issues such as police brutality, the refugee crisis, and environmental degradation. Temponok has exhibited his work in galleries across France and his art has been featured in numerous publications and documentaries on street art.

Temponok’s name finds its origin in the shortcut of the term « temporality » attached to the acronym « N.O.K », the collective of artists with which he evolves on the graffiti scene since 2001. In 2006, during a trip to Japan, he was invited to paint by the Tokyo artists Imaone, Tengaone, and Ndec, which led to the birth of his signature style. He plays with diluted colors to create his partly transparent work, which is voluptuous in form and airy in features. The soap bubble, and transparency in general, are now his graphic signature, light and delicate, through which he transmits strong emotions.

Temponok’s favorite subject is Memento Mori, a pictorial genre that pays homage to life. He tends to capture the beauty of a moment and integrate the surrounding landscape through his play of reflections with the subtlety borrowed from a Van Eyck. Today, in parallel with upcoming collective and personal exhibitions, he is redefining his notion of urban art through a large-scale personal project, the StreetLife Session project. With his bold and playful approach to graffiti, Temponok has become a beloved figure in the world of urban art and continues to inspire and engage audiences around the world.
